BEC1GO Swimmers Training
On Friday, our team ran a hands-on “SWIMMERS” session to experience the BEC1GO journey exactly as our users do—from the first click of installation to the first finished print. The goal was simple: remove friction, amplify creativity, and make every step feel effortless.
“SWIMMERS” is our internal series that puts teammates into real user scenarios so we can improve touchpoints, documentation, and product design together. Multiple sessions will follow as we prepare for FESPA Mexico and upcoming Super User Trainings.
What we set out to learn
Guided by our STEPS approach (Step-by-step Tests for Empathy, Performance & Simplicity), the team explored:
- ❓ Can “1-CLICK Coffee Girl” make software installation effortless?
- ❓ How might we redesign the installer for a smoother onboarding?
- ❓ How does the white-ink circulation system reduce complexity for everyday use?
- ❓ Which of the 8 BEC1GO print options unlocks the right result, fast?
- ❓ How hard is it to adjust a damper—even for a knowledge-zero user?
- ❓ And most importantly: how does BEC1GO feel in the final prints?
Highlights from the day
-
1) 1-CLICK install & onboarding
We pressure-tested the “Coffee Girl” path—our vision for installation that’s as easy as ordering a coffee. The team captured where guidance, progress cues, and defaults can remove hesitation for first-time users. -
2) White-ink circulation, simplified
We reviewed how automated white circulation maintains consistency while reducing manual steps. The consensus: clarity in UI status and quick tips inside the workflow help users trust the system faster. -
3) The 8 BEC1GO options in practice
From everyday productivity to creative finishes, the team trialed modes to see how each setting changes the outcome. This will feed our presets, tooltips, and explainer content. -
4) Damper quick-adjust (knowledge-zero test)
Could someone with no prior experience complete the adjustment confidently? We timed and coached the flow to identify micro-improvements in guidance and ergonomics. -
5) Finished prints: look & feel
Nothing beats the moment you hold the print. The group inspected texture, registration, and effects to match what customers expect from BEC1GO—clean layers, accurate colors, and premium tactility.
These will roll into product updates, help content, and our Super User program.
Thank you to our SWIMMERS
Huge appreciation to the presenters who made the session practical and meaningful: Ines Zhou, May Liu, Charis Tian, Vivienne Lee, Guy Feng, Veljko Krunić, Hansen Guo—and special congratulations to Ines Zhou for an outstanding contribution.
What’s next
We’re carrying the momentum into FESPA Mexico and a series of Super User Trainings. Watch for upcoming SWIMMERS sessions that go deeper into applications, presets, and one-go printing.
